So I see guides for hats values...how about other items?

So i've tried reading the forum and askin around in chat, and i'm just kind of drawing blank.

What are not hat items worth? Are some worth more then others?



Something like

Vintage Tier 1= 1 scrap
Polycount=2 scrap, except for XXX which is worth 1 reclaimed

Like are some Polycount items (not hats) more sought out then others? I notice in the store Mad Milk if you were to buy it would be 5 dollars, while some other polycount are maybe 50 cents. Does that mean because mad milk is more expensive, less people are likely to just buy it making it worth more in trades? Or does it cost more because it is infact a rarer drop?

some specific items I have questions about are
Homewrecker,Blutsauger, Vita-saw, darwins shield, mad milk, frontier justice,scottish republic.

Names are off top of my head, sorry if they sound off.

Since trading is still kinda new, no real set value has been established. There are still a large variance on value, and many times it depends on how desperate someone is. Until market prices decrease in fluctuations, a gjuide is impossible and really useless.

rule of thumb ive been getting: this is what id want to get, at least:

Paint = Any Craftable Hat
Medic Mask = 2-3 Hats (Depending on hats)
Bill's Hat = 3-4 Hats (Depending on hats)
Earbuds = 4 Hats
Any Set Hat = 3 Hats
Chieftains Challenge = 3 Hats

Any Polycount Weapon = 1 Reclaimed
Any Vintage Weapon = 2 regular Weapons or Metal
1 Regular Weapon = 1 Regular Weapon of the same class or Metal

I value every single weapon the same. It does not matter too much if it's vintage or not, because honestly people, items only became "Vintage" after September 10th I believe, and that's when I can say ATLEAST 90% of the tf2 community was ingame and playing by.

You can base things off of what the valve store puts down for prices.

Wow I suddenly feel guilty. I traded a kubuto for Bills hat, I didn't know it was worth that much :O

I just sit in the trade servers watching what happens and I like to get a fair trade. Its just purely observational with some practice. Friends of mine usually ask me to find something they want. Thus, I like to get the best deal for them.
