Farmville gives away personal data to advertising and internet tracking companies.

LOL. Never downloaded any APPs to my FB.. ever.

But keep in mind that farmville is a 3rd party game for facebook.. It isn't official.. all though it's so wide spread, it may as well be. =p

If you read the article, they also give away the data of anyone who's played friends. So pretty much everyone on facebook.
 
Just remember this: If something is free online, then someone is taking something from you, somewhere, somehow to pay for it ;)

So since Zynga is evil, and is being distributed through Facebook, that makes Facebook evil, too, when it has no intent of giving away unwanted info?
 
This is why i do not use facebook and those other fail sites.
 
As long as it's not my credit card number or passport number or social insurance number, it's all good.

If MasterCard finds out that I like buying books online, and thus sends me a 20% off coupon for Amazon (which they did), then let the data mining continue!
