Yes, it's by the same people who made MapleStory, but unlike the rest of their games, this one is pretty good. I believe it's completely free to play and is currently in open beta, and I do believe they've announced they will not be wiping characters when they go live.

Yup, it is in OB right now, full game is being released sometime this month i believe.

but i do play it. not hardcore or anything, just when i can.

It's basically an Online Action-RPG type game.

You start off in populated hubs where you can experience the story, trade, craft, and meet other players. From there you have the docks and a bulletin board where you can check for open parties looking for more people to go into a particular instance and a particular mission within it.

Once in a mission, the game is a twitch-based action hack n slash built on A/B Button type combos combined with grapples, Source's Physics abilities (i.e. pick things up and use them as weapons), and secondary weapons (Spears/Bombs to throw, or Chains to wrap around and hold the enemy down) in order to slice through the number of enemies on your way to the boss.

If you meant what is the game environment about, it looks like it is a world that has combined elements of both Celtic(Irish/Welsh) and Norse mythologies.

Oh, I also play casually on the Eastern server. Lvl 11 or 12 Fiona so far.

I'm having fun with it. I'll play almost anything once, I mean heck, I used to play MapleStory all the time.

You guys are playing on the wrong server though I'm on the West Server. If more people are playing, I'll start a new character on the East server.
