This movie scared the living daylights out of me. I enjoyed it because it was a true horror film. It didn't use torturing and maiming to scare, it just messed with your head.

Don't mind Nokx, he screams when he sees a spider..
But about the movie. It wasn't that bad. Not the best one, not the worst one

First half of the movie made me almost fall asleep.

Then I was in a theater full of people that were jumping out of their pants just because a door opened by itself which ruined the movie.

Eh i liked the first one i think they should have left it with just 1. Making a second movie ruins the first one sometimes!. The second is pretty much the same as the first thats why im not jumping for joy to see it. The Real horror would be seeing "The Thing" Love that movie. I wish they would remaster it in 3d not 'REMAKE" just put better color and just add some things. That movie should never be remade.

The guy on ki11zjoy's avatar scared me more , But then again I haven't watched it yet ^^

First Paranormal Activity: Horrible movie, there was also TWO endings to it.

Second Paranormal Activity: It was better then the first one but not by much.

The first one is only fun when you are with fun people. I have yet to see the second one, but I saw the first one at my friends house with his like 96" TV w/surround sound at like midnight. Having the right parameters makes a movie, in general horror movies.

Cool Movie but The Dam Cleaning Sled in The Pool Did it all! it made The Bangs in The Night

I went to go see it the day it came out in the UK With 6 of my friends.
Packed cinema.
But the atmosphere really made the film more funny than scary.
The scariest part of the film is supposed to be where she's being dragged down the stairs.
but instead, the whole theatre was in a fit of laughter.
If we went to watch at midnight, on our own, it probably would be more scary.
it was a good film, but it could of been better.

I thought the first one was pretty interesting. For a low budget film, they did good with the effects, suspense, and overall creepiness. I'll admit, it was boring at parts, and Katie's screams made me want to throw an anvil in her face, but overall a great movie.

Haven't seen the second one yet, but I'm supposed to go see it this Sunday. :D

*As a side note, I wanted to say that I actually prefer these kind of horror movies. Rather than showing extensive scenes of blood, gore, and torture, a film that shows off realistic horror, the kind that is as close as it gets to real life, are the best ones out there. Just my opinion folks, don't nag on me cuz I don't like watching people getting sawed in half with a rusty spoon.

After the film was acquired by Paramount Pictures, several changes were made. Some scenes were cut, others added, and the original ending was scrapped, with two new endings shot.[18] The ending shown in theaters during the film's worldwide release is the only one of the three to feature visual effects, and it differs from the endings previously seen at the Screamfest and Burbank screenings.[19][20]

Another version of the film was shown at only one public viewing. Katie returns to the bedroom after the screaming and noise of her and Micah struggling downstairs. She is holding a knife and covered in blood. She closes and locks the bedroom door. Katie walks over and smiles at the camera, then slits her own throat. This ending is offered as an alternate ending on the DVD and Blu-ray release of the film.[21][22]

There is a third ending in which, after killing Micah, Katie returns to the bedroom and sits down against the bed with the knife in her hand, rocking back and forth, for almost two days straight. Katie's sister comes looking for her, but when she enters the house, she is heard screaming after seeing Micah's body and runs out of the house. The police arrive at the house a few hours later, and Katie comes out of the bedroom with her knife, calling for Micah. Following a heated confrontation, a door behind the officers slams shut, causing the officers to shoot Katie. This version was the "original" version; it is only available to view on the internet.

Spoiler alert! =O

I didn't know about that ending in the third paragraph. I saw all the other ones though. :\
I'm gonna go watch it now! :D

Omg I hated that. Then the only good part was the ending, literally nothing else was scary.
