Okay I currently use the Logitech G5 mouse. (The Black&Blue version) It is a really good mouse BUT I feel I may want to try the new Deathadder mouse.

I dont know if It is worth an upgrade or not though. That is why Im taking it to the forums.

Please give a reason as to why rather than just posting the name of the mice.

I've switched from my DeathAdder (The first model) to the Logitech Gaming series and I'm loving it. The drivers and configuration software is nowhere near as good as Razer's but the physical hardware is definitely more solid.

I would stick with the Logitech, until it starts to break.

I've got the G5 and I couldn't ask for more. Like singular said, I don't think you should replace it unless it's broken.

I personally don't like the feel of Razer mice, plus on most of their mice they use the PTE sensor which is a pain in the ass.

If i remember correctly, the deathadder does not use the PTE sensor though.

I have the G5 too, and like Reflex said Razer mice feel weird. My brother has one and a Razer keyboard and I can't stand it.

I would recommend you going to a local store that carries them, so you can get an actual feel of the mouse before throwing out the option. That's what I did when I got my G5. CompUSA is a handy store.

If you like the g5, go up the new generation logitech mouse, the g500. It's basically a better g5.

It's hard to recommend mice, it is very individual dependent. Personally I LOVE my Deathadder and do not like the feel of the Logitech mice I've tried. I love Razer drivers and I find features like weights are extraneous; I don't use them. But that's just me.

And the scroll wheel is 10 times better. The G5 has the typical old feel to the scroll wheel, meaning it's pretty loud when you do it.

That's weird , I ordered a Deathadder last week. Should be coming today! Ill tell you what it's like :)

I'm picking up a razer naga soon because I play a lot of mmos but I have the g9x for a mouse and it is pretty cool the shape is a bit odd looking but when you actually put your hand on it you get why it's like that.

Razor recently released a new version of the Deathadder - doesn't look too diferent, just a higher DPI sensor mostly I think
