[Guide] Halloween Hacks 101

Didn't work for me, I kept dieing, even with the noclip. He's got the range of three Eyelanders. Or do I keep dieing and just use melee only until he dies? Because he keeps stunning me whenever I get close. Is the TAG game supposed to be on?

nope. But this may not work anymore since the patch. But it's not too bad getting those achievements in game. Just equip the skullcutter and targe, then when the horseless headless horseman get's down on life (it'll kind of kneel when he gets really low) charge up and whack him.

I want to know where the presents spawn! I've played 6+ hours on Mann Manor and have never seen one. How do people already have enough for Mann Mask? :facewall:
 
yeah, they fixed the hurtme function. bleh. BUT, you can spawn him and take him down if youd like.

after you spawn him and you don't kill him by the time the round is over, stay on blu, enable no clips to get out of spawn, and just go kick the crap out of him and he won't move lmao
 
Work for it the old fashioned way gentleman(and ladies). It took me about 30 minutes to get the haunted metal(killing him with melee) in a real server.
 
Orrr you could do it my way...

Become spy, spawn, walk up to him, fall on his head, backstab him once in the head, then magically achieve the hat and metal after doing nothing

I gave this method to Sif first (before the patch) since he spent about 3 hours on a server w/ no avail.
 
I have a map of my own I designed a long time ago for achievement farming, along with various server config files and bot scripts you can execute to make the bots do certain things to help you get achievements.

Whenever you set sv_cheats to 1 to enable cheats so you can make engineer bots build or make the horseman spawn, after you set sv_cheats back to 0 you have to go into console and type retry to reconnect to the server and start a new, clean session... otherwise achievements will continue to be disabled. So, while you can spawn him manually on a local server, you have to reconnect to start a clean session and once again get achievements, which will prevent you from making yourself invincible, be it by use of a negative hurt value or the buddha command or whatever

though it seemed bugged, it didnt take long to get all 4 of these achievements legitimately. youre still gonna need actual people for certain functions.

maybe ill post a link to my achievement farming kit after i finalize the installer and post in on fpsbanana so you guys can cheat all the other achievements too :P

It shouldn't take anyone 3 HOURS?!?!?! to get this. he was doing it wrong most likely.

It seems like Valve would ban for the use of "Steam Achievement Manager."
