yes custom maps, totally! i've seen vietnam, it's awesome, we should get more people to try it
 
If we do put custom maps in, we should have a link to a download for a zip on the website containing all the maps.

thanks man, been on the boards a while, figured i'd contribute more though.

but yeah, a custom map server would work. i've only really played the default maps due to the more realistic feel to them, except for dust of course. although maps like dust can become very frustrating at times when no admins are available and people just spawn camp and nade all round.

mind you, that can happen with any server. hopefully a few more admins show up soon to assist the other admins already hard at work.
 
Vietnam has my vote for sure I suggested it in the past but it was such a new map no one had really played it much so it went unnoticed.
 
I think it would be best to have an event on this, basically have all of you on the league server and test out a list of maps.

Then you all can see for yourself how well it does with the public.

Jason420 please get a map list to post and we can modify it when we test it.

I say have this test on Tuesday? 5pm PST

i like the smaller maps like dust 2 also maps which dont work my graphics card to hard.
the current fire fight rotation means that i cant play most of them maps with my current computer.
we should bear this in mind for other users also that dont have top quality graphics or we may restrict who can and cant use that server.

so here is my selection
not in any perticular order either

ok, Sr Barmy Army, But im not liking that list... Here are some More Custom Maps that have my vote.. These are New Customs, that i haven't seen but Me and Jason will try them on League server and make sure they Work and ofcourse are fun to Play!

INS_hillah - Not custom, but very Fun!

INS_trenchfoot - Will be a Nice place to get your Aim on

INS_Subway_b3 - Nice change of view

INS_Srilanka_rc1 - Very Nice detail forest Map

INS_SandStorm_rc2 - Nice Dark, challenge push map

INS_Park_Terminal_b3 - Good Up to Date map, Nice details

I like the forest map ideas... like vietnam and the sort. Its something different than what we've done in the past with the servers.
