Ladies and gentlemen of the eGO TF2 Community, I present to you the 1st Annual TF2 Monster Mash!
The Setting
“You’re off the edge of the map, mate. Here, there by monsters!”
Welcome to the Monster Mash. The rules for playing are simple. Haunting the dimly lit hallways of our eGO TF2 servers are the most gruesome ghouls you ever did lay eyes on. Their names are known only to themselves. These poor souls are in anguish, waiting to be relinquished so they may go to their final resting place (to the gratitude of all of their victims). Only YOU, the members of TF2 Division, can complete this dread bounty of souls.
There are a total of 10 Monsters – known only with the title becoming of their ways. They are:
1. The Wolfman
2. The Count
3. The Wizard
4. The Mummy
5. The Reaper
6. The Headless Horseman
7. The Blob
8. The Zombie
9. The Phantom
10. The Invisible Man
Additionally, there will be an 11th, secret bounty – the bounty for “The Lich King,” perhaps the fiercest and deadliest of all the dismal Monsters mentioned above.
“How do I vanquish these poor souls and send them into oblivion?” I hear you ask kindly. Read on.
A total of 10 terrible monsters of eGO are the target for this bounty. They can be found in the hallways of our servers for the next 2 weeks. All are eGO members.
Your job is to dominate them on their favorite map while they are playing their favorite class. This will vanquish their haunting and put a substantial bit of loot in your coffers!
In order to claim their treasure, you must post a screenshot of the domination for the Monster you believe you have just subdued in this thread, as well as declare that you believe they are the Monster, stating something such as “I have dominated [name], “The Wolfman!” If you are correct, you will be awarded your treat. If wrong, you will be forbidden to post any more Dominations for 24 hours.
In order for it to be valid, the domination must occur while the Monster is playing their designated class, and it must be on their favorite server. You, however, may play as any class you like to achieve the dominations. Any domination taken *before* this Bounty is *not* valid.
Each domination (of any eGO member) you achieve will earn you 1 Point. These points can be used for any number of things, but perhaps most importantly, they can be used to buy Clues to unveil the mystery behind the Monsters. Here are the items you may spend your points on.
5 Points – Dom Tokens (◘)! Each is worth 5,000CC at the end of this Bounty.
5 Points – Reveal the Bounty Award of a certain Monster
7 Points – Reveal the Favorite Map of a certain Monster
10 Points – Reveal the Favorite Class of a certain Monster
13 Points – Reveal the Clue of a certain Monster
15 Points – Reveal the Extra Bounty $ and Requirement for it!
25 Points – Mystery Box #1
25 Points – Mystery Box #2
30 Points – Reveal the Name of a certain Monster!
Points for the Lich King - Costs 5 More points per item than normal. For example, to reveal their name, it would costs 35 Points instead of the normal 30.
You may also pay double any posted amount to get that particular item sent to you *privately* via PM. This is very expensive, but it also gives you an edge. Choose carefully.
Points can also be STOLEN! If you have points posted and someone dominates you, they get your points! You can, however, steal them back. Watch your backs!
You cannot, however, have Bounties stolen. So remember – once a bounty’s gone – it’s gone!
This Bounty consists of over $1 Million in Casino Cash, plus even more set aside for regular dominations. It’s in your best interest to participate! The cash will be divided up depending on the bounties earned, not including points for Dom Tokens (denoted by ◘). Remember, though – if you fail to “call” a bounty when you see it, you lose the opportunity to until you score another domination (provided someone hasn’t beaten you to it).
If you are a Monster and you somehow manage to evade being dominated, you will be awarded your bounty total in cash, plus a little extra.
Only eGO members can participate in the event. If you’re not a member, why not consider joining?

Q – Are there “Monsterettes” – you know, girl monsters?
A – I’m not sure that’s a proper term, but yes, there may be female eGO members who are bounties.
Q – If I dominate everyone, can I keep all the cash?
A – Yes, you may certainly do so – even though that is extremely unlikely.
Q – Can you (Marine4God) participate in this bounty?
A – No, I cannot earn on any of the bounties. My job will be to keep up with you guys and your scores. I might be playing, however, and dominating you babies the same as before.
Q – Do the titles of the Monsters relate specifically to a Monster’s traits, etc.?
A – Maybe, maybe not. Trick or treat.
Q – How much does each bounty earn on average?
A – On average, not less than 80,000!
Q – Can DomTokens be stolen?
A – YES, they can! Make sure to hold on for dear life once you've earned yours.
Q – Do the Monsters know each other?
A – No, they do not - wouldn't that be neat, though?
Q – Can we buy clues about the Lich King?
A – You can, however they cost 5 more points for each item than normal.
Q – Can I post scoreboard screens?
A – NO - there is no way to tell how many times you dominated someone if you use this method. If you post scoreboard doms I will *not* count them. Post screens of the domination in action only.
