Insurgency Movie/Series idea

Past topics that I have made about this have succumb into the space of dead threads within this community, but I've decided to once more again to try this.

As the title of this topic describes, a movie/series idea. Like for instance, the "Band of Brothers" idea in Insurgency. Renamed to "Band of Insurgents" I was wondering if anyone would like to make this into a reality instead of an idea on top of my head. Either that, we could try something comedic, it wouldn't hurt would it? I would like to hear some thoughts and ideas.

Since we all know this game is dying I would at least try this to make this a memory and fun idea for everyone/anyone involved. If needs be, I'll even open this up to the public gamers out there, not just eGO.

I've read some of the eGO member's ideas and came up with one overall theme of my own:

I think the series should be geared towards a comedy with a spice of tactical INS gameplay.

Focus on a squad of 4 Marines (good for character development) all with different specialties. First episode could be just a TF2 style 'meet the ...' intro to the characters. Their objective is to take down the 'evil Insurgent mastermind' with his villain sidekick (no names yet ) who use masses of dispensable insurgents to take down the Marines at all costs. The Marine side could also have dispensable characters - just for the purpose of them dying. If we can get someone to edit skins, we could put just a white 'mask' over all the dispensable Marines and Insurgents just for the fun of it .

The series would outline the tactical INS gameplay and lure in viewers with the comic theme.

The idea is not all that original, but I think it is classic enough to get good feedback if we do it right. First thing would be do develop the characters and from there we can start with developing the first season (better to think ahead so as not to screw up the whole series with one wrong choice). First episode would be simple and could be done before the season (meet the ... episode). That way we would get the practice needed to do the season and we could always stop after we're done the first episode if we don't like where it is going.

I just pmed this to everyone that I know who plays Insurgency, including non eGO members. So we should see what ideas this can bring.

sounds like a cool idea.... anyone seen the Red Vs. Blue series?? these guys do it through that and its turned into a huge success... id love to be apart of it... ill rack my brain and see if i can come up with some good ideas for episodes and stuff.... ill try and make it so some of u get the jokes...lol... no british humor..lol... just good old Canadian slap stick...lol...

I think this would be the most effective portrayal of the game.
