Merging EA accounts?

I have three different emails with different registered games from EA on them. I was wondering if I could merge my old two emails with my new third email that i use to play BC2 with. I tried logging into one of my old accounts and changing my email, but obviously it says "This email address is already in use". The EA FAQ is no help, neither are the forums.

Anyone know how to fix this issue? I would love to get veteran status for the games I own, but that doesnt work either.

You can give them a call. Wait times are sometimes hideous - like half an hour or so. If they haven't changed it, their support line is open 7am-7pm PST, seven days a week.

It's an advanced problem that I imagine can't be done through any sort of automatic online process. One of their reps has to do that. If you provide them with your CD keys and logins, they can give you veteran status on your actual BC2 account.

I just did this with my BF2 email account, and had it merged with my email for BFBC2 in order to get VIP status. Just used the IM on the support stage, it was quick and painless as long as you have the information they need at hand.

Good work fellas. Hopefully he gets his accounts merged quickly and painlessly. :)

Thank you very much guys for posting this - I've been meaning to merge my accounts so I can have veteran status for some time now...

Much appreciated ;)

My brothers friend had this issue, and he called EA, proved he owned both accounts, and they set his veteran status on the account

Thank you for the link to the EA chat!! They were very helpful...There was about a 10 minute wait, but it was worth it. I told them my problem, all they asked for was which prior battlefield games I own and the CD keys/accounts to support them. They were able to give me all of the games I could prove I owned, and when they asked what other games I have, I mentioned that I used to own 1942 and Vietnam but had lost the CD key. They gave me the veteran status anyway.
