Okay, i need some help. I've posted in Tech Help but no one seems to be helping. And it's all of my Source Engine Games. Whenever i load up the game, it loads the background (In Css it shows both Ct's and in DoD it shows the Nazi and the American) and it freezes with that picture only. No options, no Find Server, no Create a Server, no nothing. It won't let me open console, I've tried Re installation, registry fixes, launch commands (including novid which helped for about a week) and i'm desperate for help. PLEASE DON'T LET ME LOSE CSS.

Thank you :)

Do you know how to access advanced user options? If you do, try typing "-novid" there.

It fixed my HL2, might not work on DoD/CS:S though.

I find it weird -novid only worked for a while, though. What happens when you use -novid now?

When the background picture loads up, don't click anywhere on it, until the menu shows up, otherwise it will freeze. Just wait, and it will come up.

It could be something wrong with the graphics. Maybe it is too much for you graphics card now. How old is you graphics card and have you cleaned your computer recently?

I've tried novid and it just doesn't do anything. It loads up normally and it still freezes. I'll keep trying though. And no i don't think it's too much for my Graphics card because i was able to run this perfectly fine when it was working and I clean my computer daily.

I couldn't get a screen shot....but here are my specs. Please figure it out.....updating the drivers didn't help either.
