Ok, so as you may or may not know, i'm cursed with errors. So let's just say I had a error, and I fixed it (turned off my firewall.) Now the whole process is starting over again, saying can't connect to offline mode. God steam, why?

Go into the Steam folder [C:\Program files(x86)\Steam], and look for ClientRegistry.blob, and delete it. Exit Steam first, of course.

nice...A new error (not new, I was told to do this before, now it's starting all over again..)

Now it says "Cannont connect to offline mode because there is no internet crap [OK]"

I have now officially lost all hope in returning to steam, screw this..

In my case, I have checked google 20 billion times, so he and I are neutral..

So you have internet working (obviously your posting here), are you trying to play in offline mode? Have you completely uninstalled steam (taking out registry as well?)

I did uninstall steam, but I did not take out the registry (Like it really mattered in my case..)

Download CCleaner: http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download
Uninstall Steam
Remove any leftover folders from the directory you installed Steam to originally.
Run CCleaner (fix all registry errors, etcetc)
Reinstall Steam
Reinstall all your games.

If you don't clean up any registry errors, it could cause more errors later that affect your ability to use the program or game you're already having problems with.
