This was another serious thread. I admit, it was kinda braggy, but everything about it was 100% real to how my situation was. I still have no idea how I killed anything with that old laptop (and all of the other circumstances involved in playing on it)... I created a new ranking system, factoring in both "skill" (server points) and "seniority" (time played), along with admin rank. I came up with a complete system and then assigned (using real US Army ranks) ranks to people, once I sorted them. Little-known fact: I really did go through every single last eGO member, calculated their "rank number" and then assigned the appropriate amount of each rank to people in that order. Players are in their exact order, numerically, top to bottom. No joke.

A rare "serious" thread, I tried comparing all of the deaths going on in-server to how many really happened during WWII. I also tried to paint a picture of what playing each server is like. Little-known fact: The numbers in this thread were legit and real research/calculations. As you'll see as a trend in many of my threads, the server appeared in alphabetical order (Charlie I listed as "Charlie", but put it in order under "Strand"--its proper name). ALSO...I still wonder, to this day, if Hero93 wonders how long it took me to come up with this thread idea, or how it was me, of all people, who did eventually come up with it. lol

I was having a slow start to the weekly interviews (lol, having some major deja vu of that right now), so this was just a thread asking for some suggestions for my first 'e of the Week', since the one I had initially chose fell through. Little-known fact: We actually started the interview (it was with Cpl. Punishment) and got about 1/3 of the way through, but then he had to go. By the time he next got on Steam, he had left eGO. The sad part was that I had some really good questions for him, and I still think that would have been one of my best interviews ever.

This was one of my finest eGO moments, I think, as I, A) Proved that I wasn't losing my touch, and in the meantime, B) Completely beat our own leadership team to the punch by producing a more in-depth display of the census results before they could even react to the fact that the census had closed. Little-known fact: Not only did I create all of those graphs and charts, but also every person's roll call info was put in alphabetical order. Also, my data was actually MORE complete than leadership's, as I looked up omitted (from roll call) join dates and ages.

2. The Adventures of YSD and Ides - Why? The thread itself wasn't all that popular, but the adventure itself was downright hilarious. When Ides and I hang out...everything is a joke. That little road trip was no exception.
3. A typical day in Kalt... - Why? It took us several hours making the setup in Garry's Mod, but it was just because we just had to get every arm angle and gun placement just right. In the end people had a lot of fun seeing it and it produced a temporary trend of people making Garry's mod stuff for us to see.
4. Dod Census - Why? A bunch of raw data for YSD to compile?! How can we make this any better?! Oh, I know! That classic reaction of complete disbelief by leadership when I beat them to the punch on something they had planned for some time...that's how.
5. The entire "DoD Vinci Code" series - Why? I had such a blast making the whole thing and seeing it all come together and work...you have no idea. If you'll notice, I wanted everybody to enjoy it with me, so I broke it up to a part a day (in hopes that people would be more likely to read it that way), but I was SO eager to post each part that most of them came as soon as the "next day" was there--whether that was just past midnight or as soon as I got up in the morning.

I created a new ranking system, factoring in both "skill" (server points) and "seniority" (time played), along with admin rank. I came up with a complete system and then assigned (using real US Army ranks) ranks to people, once I sorted them. Little-known fact: I really did go through every single last eGO member, calculated their "rank number" and then assigned the appropriate amount of each rank to people in that order. Part 1 of the story. I notice something strange for the first time. Little-known fact: In order to make everything fit together "properly", I had to plan out all of my revelations ahead of time. Therefore, the "jeod code-speaking" one made me find a clever way to make his dialogue to hold the hidden message while not sounding too blocky our obviously unusual.

Part 2 of the story. I begin my investigation. Little-known fact: I really did look up/calculate things like the geographical center of the determined points just for this story. I then used whatever I found from that and did what I think was a half-decent job of winging it to adjust my story and figure out coincidences (like the Dollar General thing) that I could incorporate into the story/conspiracy.

The threads I had the most fun making:
2. The Adventures of YSD and Ides - Why? The thread itself wasn't all that popular, but the adventure itself was downright hilarious. When Ides and I hang out...everything is a joke. That little road trip was no exception.
3. A typical day in Kalt... - Why? It took us several hours making the setup in Garry's Mod, but it was just because we just had to get every arm angle and gun placement just right. In the end people had a lot of fun seeing it and it produced a temporary trend of people making Garry's mod stuff for us to see.
4. Dod Census - Why? A bunch of raw data for YSD to compile?! How can we make this any better?! Oh, I know! That classic reaction of complete disbelief by leadership when I beat them to the punch on something they had planned for some time...that's how.
5. The entire "DoD Vinci Code" series - Why? I had such a blast making the whole thing and seeing it all come together and work...you have no idea. If you'll notice, I wanted everybody to enjoy it with me, so I broke it up to a part a day (in hopes that people would be more likely to read it that way), but I was SO eager to post each part that most of them came as soon as the "next day" was there--whether that was just past midnight or as soon as I got up in the morning.
