DOD:S People welcome? And too many Qs?

Hi all! I used to be a big DOD:S fan but I find that I'm not enjoying it as much since returning. Is there room for one more in the CS:S tent? When and where are admins needed?

How often do we run clan skirmishes or events? I saw that there were events on Saturday and Sunday but is this a regular thing or maybe once a month-ish?

I played on Dust2 for the first time in a long time today and I noticed there was little activity on the other servers, did I catch it on a bad time? What's the best time to catch Dust1 action?

Jail is almost as active as Dust 2. It's never empty from what I've seen. Office is a server that if you wait for five minutes, someone will join. Before you know it, the server has 10 people and it will keep growing. Dust1 is a little trickier. People won't join unless there are more than 2 people, so invite a friend to play with you!

We have events almost every night of the week it seems. In general, they start around 8PM EST although there is some variation.
For instance, this week we have:
Tonight/Monday: Jail Night on the Event Server
Wednesday: Wed Night Fight
Thursday: Mini Game Night
Friday: Dog Tag Scrim
Saturday: Late Night Fight

We also have Euro time-zone friendly events on Wed, Sat, and Sunday.

Feel free to join us for the events. Just try and get in Ventrilo 15 minutes before they start.


As far as admining goes, request access to the admin groups under My Groups if you want to help out.

i think Nosh pretty much summed everythin up ;
try out more servers, activity on dust1 ranges if you dont catch it at the right time, theres plenty more servers to try out. & CSS welcomes you :]
 
Dust 1 is trickier, but its growing now and usually in the evening youll find some people in it, im working on trying to get it more populated in the mornings now, but thats hard to do when I have school everyday.
 
If you decide to go to Jail, let the other admins do the admin-ing because it takes a while to learn the game/rules/admin issues. :)

High School is a fun map to play on that has activity a lot of the time too.

There's plenty of space in the CS:S tent, we even accommodated Ashley's need for two seats! :D
 
Depends on the time of day, some people for example may still be at work because it is 3pm WST and 6pm EST. You just caught it at a bad time.
 
Just look in our Scrim/Event info section for our events. Also, we could use some admins in Dust2. :)

i think dust1 doesnt have any admins at all. but hopefully you have fun in our CSS servers!
 
Oh yea you could do Jail Admin class when there are some on. Check the CSS private admin forums.

Yeah High school there is a lot of funs there and we can still tell him what to do in jail :D

But uhh I dont re command you going to Dust 2 server or Office server cause there is a lot of trouble makers and so many admining to do Dx

And Ashley! you are taking 2 chair of spaces! share him a chair meanie!
 
I find jail fun to play. But I always go to dust1 when I can. Also, dust1 fills up un the evening so that would be the better time to go. Like IEye said, on jail learn the rules, then admin. And uh... there is something else that is important but i'm to lazy to try and think of it now :P
 
jail for fun
dust1 for small team games
office for medium team games
dust2 for large team games
highschool for medium to large games

now admining is different on each server, but most of the ppl already explained it all,and

Just make sure that everytime you come on, there is a chance that we will have 3 more jail servers than last time.
