Runescape wont work help!

When ever I try to play runescape it crashes and wont let me play

Help! PLEASE!

And yes I reinstalled Java

Hmmm that is weird. What do you mean by crash does it actually work for a minute then crash? Or does the java box fail to work completely?

It goes to the login menu for 2 sec. then freezes

Runescape should NOT need any firewall modifications.

Go to the .jagex_cache_32 file and delete it.

Don't worry about getting it back, it will re-download the files.

1. Not enough RAM (Random access memory), in which you'll have to pruchase a new PC.
2. Maybe you didn't download the latest version of Java?
3. If you have dial-up, it won't work.
4. Maybe there are a lot of programs running at the time?

i suggest you try to run it with another browser and see if it works,

the cause of the crash may be caused by plugin container.exe which starts with Mozilla Firefox, as it sometimes has a habbit of constantly messing the entire browser up..

There is a download on their site that puts you directly in the game so you don't need to go through a browser. I'm sure thats what he is talking about.

Download swiftkit its like a all in one runescape program since it gives u lots of data on whatever you need such as GE, item database, cost of items, which monster drops em, quest help, etc. Runescape allows it since it isn't an illegal program xp

1st. Go to the website, there is a download for it.

2nd. Programs like swiftkit were allowed before Jagex got their own downloadable client.

oh ok, i didnt know that kind of download actually was available from the official runescape website
