hey need more help

hey my bro needs help with his game... when loading HL2 EP #1 it loads to a certan point then this error comes up "Internal driver error in Direct3DDevice9:: present()".... i updated drivers, veryfied game cache, and make it go through our firewall...need help!!

I KNOW i saw someone with the exact same problem and I just searched through like 25 pages of forum search logs and cont find it. I wonder if maybe it was on the TF2 site.

I think the solution had to do with making the page pool size larger or something. Try typing this message into search engine and find someone who said "this si what i did, i changed the paged pool size" and then follow their directions. It should work me thinks.

You said you updated your Hard drives, correct? This error is usually in terms with your Directx system. You may need to update your display Driver, and get / update your Directx.

If this doesn't work, it is a Source Glitch with Valve. I was searching through there Error list, and something similar to that was on there.

Though I am sure it has to do with your Directx.

when did he say he updated his hard drive? Didnt you read that he already updated his drivers?

updating directX is a good suggestion though, but i really think i posted a solution. Just waiting to hear back and see how it went.

first of all thx so much green monkey ur the best ....im sorry if been stupid lately iv just been mad that my new game wasnt working.....so im daownloading directX 10... i googled the probleme and looked through some forums.... i told my bro to look through them because its his game so i'll tell you how its comming

Oh, my bad. I couldn't tell what you were saying the solution was, other to search for it. Unless you saying Changing Pool size was it, then my bad.

My solution was to change the paged pool size, but i wanted him to google the directions on hwo to do it because i havnt done it enough to splurt it off my head without missing something. Especially without doing a hexadecimal conversion.
