i know i can get 4ghz stable on air cooling with my setup easy enough. but my cpu runs warmer than it should, I think i need a new coat of thermal paste but that can wait until christmas.

Yea, I hate it, I can't get a consistent result. I ran it about 4 times, and that one i posted is the best.

Now that I am using my i5 though, I can't even come close to my best score
 
10.12 better be some amazing drivers.

I got the mobo for a song and it'll eventually run my work rig where almost* all rendering is CPU based. My single GT 240 has more than enough power to handle anything work related I'll ever need to do at home.

*real time is on the GPU, but no more demanding than full screen youtube
