And I'll win with my next round of hardware (probably in a few months). If I have enough left over from Financial Aid (that I have absolutely no need for), then I'll probably sell this graphics card, then pick up a beefier GPU. I'm liking the 570. B)

But really it's an ASUS. And I'd assume Phobus will win because I'm both new to OC and have all stock coolers.

I just got into college :w00t: UMich engineering, so expensive and im still spending ma money like this lol.......hopefully they give me some scholarships and financial aid so its easier on my parents

if you have the DirectCU one, you will probably be able to push further than Pho. He has the XFX one with a crappy heatsink.

Yeah, I think I may grab a better heatsink. More needs to come out for these cards, though.
Lol. Yeah, probably. It'll realistically be an Ivy Bridge platform. I can't wait, though. I'll always get the newest tech.

Uh, what? Last time I checked, those supported the 6870. Not the 6850 (minus the TTP).

nope, decided to downclock it to 3.6ghz. Produces less heat, and i don't even need to change voltages
I left all my voltage settings at Auto pretty much and can run Prim95 stable with 3.6ghz I check EVGA eleet to see wat voltages were being pumped through and at 100% load its about 1.2 vcore

Oh, it's a d0 920. I was going to say thats a really nice stock voltage oc there. But I thought you had a c0.

haha nah its a D0.........im enjoying it. Im able to have speedstep and everything on too so that when its idle, its just at vcore of .9v
