Benchmarking Thread!

Well, this is interesting. It's running off of my 240 physx card rather than my 460, getting me a whopping 12.08 fps on the bench that I ran. I haven't played the game since I added the 240 but so far it's the only game I've encountered that runs where it shouldn't. So I've got that to figure out...

Also, I actually own the game and I'm given the option of three different bench locations, I assume that's not the case with the demo? Can someone confirm or deny?

Once I get everything sussed out I'll post up a proper bench. Soonish hopefully.
 
There seems to only be one benchmark available in the demo.



Still haven't messed around with any OC'ing. /sigh
 
Well, I'm stumped. I'm not going to bother downloading the demo until I can get the game to run on the correct video card. Can't get it to run on the 460 no matter what I do and I don't really feel like pulling the 240 at the moment. If anybody's got ideas, I'd love to hear them.

But really, that's the first time I've really tried using Afterburner in a bench. Up til now I've just been seeing how different clock and fan speeds affect temperature in Kombustor. I do have some questions though.

1. I've unlocked voltage control in the options, but they're still both greyed out.
2. The core clock bar tops out at 875MHz. Why does it do this and would I even want to try and push past that?

1. You need to edit the .ini file for Afterburner. Scroll down until you see "Voltage Control" or something like that. Set it to 1 (if it's 0) I'm not at home, so I can't tell you specifically.
2. Edit the .ini file, and set the "UnofficialOverclocking" to 1.

Wait until I get home. You'll get schooled.
 
Yeah. Damn that facebook log-in thing. Plus, photobucket isn't actually showing the pictures in full 1920x1080 glory. I need to find a new online photo storage site.
