Now time for a serious attempt



meh... 13 fps more isn't bad.

I wonder if my CPU is holding it back on this benchmark.

See how those overclocks work in other games and if they increase as much
 
I've done other games. They scale like that in pretty much everything.
 
I know. I'm pretty impressed with the performance for $180. lol.
I really want a 560, though. Twin Frozr II... same price as others... must resist...
 
wow wtf - my clocks are higher in my test but not my score - gotta love my POS processor...its really holding me back
 
Oh manzzz fortyskates rolling in with his new GTX 560 and gettin 234 FPS

Overclock that thing, wanna see how it performs. I would upgrade.........if it was worth it and i needed it lol

I saw 1000mhz clocks on 560 beating the 570 in some tests and 480 sometimes too
 
I actually ran 3, 900 and 950mhz on the gpu alone netted around 200fps at 60% load. Pushed the cpu up a bit to get the final result.

Nah, he ran his at 1,000 core and 1,200 memory.
This is obviously a GPU bound game. lol.

Get 1Ghz on that 560. That's a boss score for a single GPU.
 
Actually, at 950 on the gpu and 3.5 cpu I think it was the cpu holding it back still since the gpu still barely hit 85% load. Anyway, I ran benches on my 460 yesterday for every game I've got that has a bench and I'm going to rerun all of those first before I consider trying to push this further.
 
funny...the 560s are the same price as a 5850 - why in the hell are the 5850s retaining their high price tag with all these new cards

man it kinda sucks i have a 5850 now because wanting to crossfire cost me just as much as 1 awesome better stand alone GPU like a 560.
 
Because AMD is failing with prices imo. They don't know how to put a budget card in a budget price range.

Nvidia isn't clear, either.
Marketing the 560 as a budget card, yet putting it in the low end of enthusiast pricing? That's not right.
Budget has always been ~$200. $250 is approaching enthusiast pricing. Not cool.

And the 6970. What the hell?! It gets beaten most of the time by the 570, yet is more expensive? Your only inclination to get the 6970 over the 570 is if you're going to go Eyefinity on one GPU.
