Ok, so tonight I had a free moment from my papers and midterms so I thought I'd fire up vent. I scroll down after the general rooms in and join a day of defeat channel. I then proceed to launch day of defeat and hop into flash to pwn some noobs. While I'm runnin' and gunnin' I hear over vent "sniper in the lighthouse." I think to myself, "lighthouse? What lighthouse? There's no lighthouse in flash? There's a soda machine but no lighthouse." But I let it go. Few minutes pass and I hear, "Come on guys, get to B and defuse it." Now I'm getting concerned that the people that are in vent with me, may have been dropped as children. So I giggle and continue my pwnage. Finally I hear, "They stole our Bradley. Who the hell let them steel our Bradley?" That does it. I'm beyond confused. I'm thinking to myself "What pansy advisor (read: C-WHiT) thought it would be funny to stick lil'o captain Kirk in the BC2 channels. Haha very funny." So I drop outta game and sure enough, I'm in the BC2 channels. So I scroll up and find myself at the lobby. Big o' what the hell. So I scroll back down and to my horror, I wasn't moved to the BC2 channels. I joined them myself. They are in fact where the day of defeat channels were. Now I don't know what's going on. I'm lost in vent. I have to be the first person to get lost in a vent server. So I grab my tricorder and go searching. I start to scroll down. And down and down and down and down (it's a large vent server) and down and still nothing. By this time my finger is cramped and the ridges of the scroll wheel are embedded into my finger. So I take a break. Come back 15 minutes later and continue my scrolling. I make it to the CSS division channels and I'm tired. But I must persist, so I grab a gatorade and my Indiana Jones hat and continue my quest of the missing rooms. I get half way down the vent server and there they are, underneath the CSS (cringe) channels. I'm gone 2 weeks for midterms and the dods channels are now located under the CSS channels. This my fellow allies and axis players in unacceptable. How did we let this happen.? Being kicked off the top is bad enough, but being demoted all the way down, below CSS is appalling. This is a sad day for the day of defeat division, a sad day.






Note: For those on here that take stuff way too seriously, this post is all in jest and I hold no ill will toward the decision to move the channels or the CSS division.
 
I don't get this.... When I saw this my brain started falling apart when I saw we were at the bottom. I mean come on now.... BC2! BC2 is at the top. I Blame Duality!
 
Its dissapointing for me. The DoD division started it all and i think that at the very least our vent spot should be #1 (much like our division). I kind of feel like when all the seats on the school bus were taken and you had to sit between a fat kid and a smelly one (No offense Eve). I guess we just have to put up with it, but so help me hypnotoad if the tabs in the forums get moved youll be hearing me curse (probably in the wrong vent channel).

I had to explain this yesterday before the Realism event too.

See, what happened was that Leadership had been getting complaints that we were the most favored division (Cause, lets face it, we're easily the best) from the CS:S guys. So in order to keep the Division Riots away, they made it Alphabetical in order to ensure that there was no favoritism happening in eGO.

Lets face the facts Ladies and Gentlemen. We're still Kings of eGO, no matter what spot of Vent they decide they can try and hide us.
 
or if you think were not the kings we will go midevil on you and rub your face in the dirt because this here be our vent fool!
 
other than allowing us to be lazy and not get the extreme workout Kirk explained. What does it matter who is top of vent channel. sounds just as good down here and we still have the most dedication from our members. Nuff said.

With all of the in-fighting we have, if we all combined forces, we'd be pretty stinkin' lethal.

Nah they haven't. They're all mindless killing machines (and we still have more skill).
 
YSD since Leadership (And C-Whit) already hate you, you should try and get one of them front page polls things asking if they like the new way Vent is organized, with the option of "Put DoD:S back at first) and we can all vote for that. By our powers combined, we could take back our position at the top of Vent playground
