Black Friday 2010

So is anyone going shopping next friday? If so, what are you going after? Im sure there will be some people who wont go after the deals because they are afraid of the other people who do go bonkers for the deals. I can understand their reasoning for that. Last year Target had a 1tb external hard drive on sale. Also feel free to talk about your favorite purchases from years past as well. My favorite purchase was from 2007 (1st year I started, my mom got me interested the year before) when I went to Best Buy & they had this 22" lcd monitor on sale for $150. Its still the same monitor I currently use.

I got to Best Buy and 2:30 AM like 2 years ago on Black Friday, and there were already 500 people lined up. Thankfully the line wrapped around the store, and there was pretty much a riot, and the line came together, and all those wrapped around the edge got cut off. There were also a few fights... anyways, I got into the front 10 of the line, and got a bunch of awesome stuff. Totally not worth the getting up early though.

It's the day after Thanksgiving in America where all the major chain stores (Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy) all have incredibly good deals, so many people usually get to the stores hours before they open, in order to get the good deals. It is usually when most people do their Christmas shopping.

Yep, I will be hitting up Best Buy with a wad a cash to see what there is to buy. I always end up getting something, last year was a new LCD 50" hd tv. Probably going to keep my eyes open for a SSD or another monitor for eyefinity.

id love 2 have that kinda $$. target has a 40" hdtv on sale 4 $300. thats the best deal ive seen so far.

After watching incidents and events that ended up in the police being called in to break up, I say "never again Black Friday...never again..." Standing in a line for hours only to run around a Best Buy and/or a Walmart for crazy deals they only have a handful of in stock is just not worth the grief or the gas....

i work in retail.....so..i won't be "shopping" if anything im gonna be praying for death while at work then after work im probably gonna spend a few hours rocking back and fourth muttering things in the corner of my room
