Black ops, a disappointment?

as for the game i've heard way too many mixed reviews to spend my money on it. i'd be more interested in the single player which apparently only lasts like 8 hours and is more cut scenes than playtime. so i'll pass

The campaign was kind of a disappointment for me because of a LOT of AI bugs/freezes, dumb AI, etc. But the story itself was OK.

story was cool, but I felt it was trying too hard to beat mw2's campaign. It was essentially nonstop action and running and gunning. After a while the action wore off and it got boring. On paper the story is good, but I don't think the executed it well.

Multiplayer has gotten better. My framerate is now high enough to play well and I've gotten over the fact that nobody snipes. It's a smg or assault rifle game, which isn't bad.

I'd give it a 6/10
