I need an EXTREMELY scary novel to read or movie to watch. Please don't say The Exorcist, that was terrible IMO. Any advice?

Please and Thank you!:laugh::laugh:

Silence of The Lamb
A pretty scary book. The movie is good but it just not put how scary that damn book was.

We Need To Talk About Kevin
Another scary book about a 15 year old mass murderer told from the eyes of his emotionally disturbed mother.

The Wasp Factory
The book is told entirely by Frank, a 17 year old who manages to sound perfectly sane and rational as he explains how he killed 3 people while he was still just a child or as he performs the rituals of the Wasp Factory (bizarre rituals that need to be read to be believed).

Well I dont read scary novels or watch them, its just not my "thing".
I heard this is scary- The Haunting of Molly Carter ( or something like that)

Oh forgot to add.
Glamorama.

Finished the book a bit ago. Not scare but just really disgusting how the book can paint the visual of death into your mind with words. If you don't like this Ellis book I would recommend American Psycho.

Hostel is creepy, but not that scary.

I know 3 people who walked out of Paranormal Activity 2. I bet $50 bucks I won't walk out when we go soon.

Did they walk out because it was too scary or because it was too crappy?

*Double post soz*

Paranormal Actdumbity 2 sucked, if you REALLY want to see something scary, don't see it. As usual, the ending was the ONLY scary part (Though I could sit there with a straight face..)

Scream 4 is coming out (Filmed near me ftw, I saw the set in real life :D) that should be scary.

Movie wise:
Inside
Alien
[Rec]
28 Days Later

...There really aren't that many scary movies and the ones I listed all depends on the person.

Bookwise...can't list any.

It was too "scary". Note: they are giant panzees.

I saw the first one, and jumped once or twice. The part when they went in the attic had me pissing my pants, other than that it was rather crappy.

Hate to double post but the French movie "Inside" was well, very, uh... disturbing to say the least.

Most of the recent French horror films are

I can think of four off the top of my head:

Inside
Martyrs
Frontier(s)
High Tension
