Xzbit I have already tried that, and Phobus my case can only accommodate 1 slot pci cards, since the x16 lane is at the top having no more room for a 2 slot card.

Try getting a AMD 5770 from XFX one slot only or a Geforce gts 450 from sparkle they are difficult to find but that is what you need. Also can you take a picture of your mobo just to check the area : )

It seems you can use a two slot graphics card, unless the PCI 1 is already populated. If you choose to buy a new card you should be aware of the power it will need. What im trying to say is that you need to check if your power supply can provide enough electricity for the card. What power supply do you have currently installed?
