Hey,

I was reading Xantes post about his problems with strand which reminded me of mine which is similar.

Whenever i try to play a server with strand, jagd or colmar my computer freezing whilst i am "Receiving server info" (or whatever it says).

Just wondering if anybody else has had this or if anybody has an idea how it can be fixed?

Never had that kind of problem, if the server doesn't send you the map just disconnect and try again later. Happens some times when downloading maps on a new computer. (fresh steam install)

Or reinstall dod would be the easiest unless you got tons of skins

You know, all of those maps have excessive amounts of fog/water and snow. Maybe that's where your problem lies.
