What are you looking for in a game?

Everyone always wants something new in their game well here's your chance!!! All you have to do is write what you want, its that simple.

lol, um I want something with women! haha just kidding. Well, being serious, i would like total insane combat with the weapons in todays military. Something with a cover system and different classes like CoD4 and DoD. And thats about it i guess.

I would like World War II type of games. Games that contain less grinding (Playing Day over day for levelling purposes). A game with a lot of warfare(Duh), A game with my country(yes i am a patriot) China in it, Like BF2. If possible, no death-match type, I want a team mate based game.

So in Summary, Games like BF 2, TF2, DODS and BF1942.

i dont know why you say 'here is your choice' but I have always wanted a first person shooter that is non linear with multi threaded and editable storyline paths such that, instead of playing and knowing that i have to go down the corridor because it is the only way to go, that I can choose to follow the corridor, or tkae any door down the coridor ot the elevator.

Allow me to choose weather i want to save the girl, or just go guns blaring - allow me to pick sides between side A and side B, and in general have one event cause or affect other events in a chain reaction but not to specifically define a path.

I am aware that stalker is similar to my description, however, i mean somehting a little bit different although i'm not sure hwo to explain it.

Good idea's but i am talking about the broadest you can think. the most general. i am not only talking about WW2 games. Keep posting the ideas please!

It really depends. I am the All Round gamer. I play generally any style, and enjoy whatever I get.

If a First Person Shooter, I look for Large, Team based Online Action and tough fights against opponents. If a Campaign is included, a long and challenging one. For FPS I go for any era, though future FPS's are on the bottom of my list.

My favorite era in History is the Feudal age, and everything that led up to it (IE Roman, Mesopotamia's etc). I usually look for games that focus either on the Combat, building or both. Medieval games, I don't go online as much.

I have 28 (possibly more) purchased games. I think that means I like to explore around

But generally if it looks good, I'll play it.

I TOTALLY agree with GreenMonkey, that is EXACTLY what I want. But sometimes I dunno the perfect game would be for me. Like, everything I've ever wanted in a game is already out there, but It's been divided up into different games. So, you take the features that were simply awesome from several (and a I mean a LOT) games and you put them in one to create some sort of fantastic melting pot of gaming goodness and release into the public. Here's the features I want in my perfect game:

From FPS's

• Battle recorder, character customization and Forge, from Halo 3
  *The the perks and the weapons (mostly) from Call of Duty 4
  *The vehicles (including aircraft) from Battlefield 2
  *The physics engine and high modibility of Half Life 2
  *A mix of the graphics engines from Gears of War, The Orange Box, & Call of Duty 4
  *The humor of Portal

From RTS's

• *The absolutely amazing effects and explosions from Company of Heroes, and then Opposing Fronts
  *Fast paced gameplay of COmmand & Conquer 3
  *The squad-type soldier system of Joint Task Force

Combine all of those, and it'll be as good as cake.

I dunno i enjoy dods but classic had some kool aspects, if u could sucessfuly combine those 2 together and up grade the graphics, u just made a great game greaterer.

That's what I liked about BioShock. It wasn't a "one corridor" game instead it had many choices and possibilities involved in it.

That sounds like a monumental FPS, it'd be good if you could win the trust of your team and then betray them later. Oh I lurv it, someone make it please

GreenMonkey, do you mean induviduilatiy? Like fable kind of? Because that could easily be an rpg. Keep the thoughts rolling guys, and try to keep it as genereal as possible. For example, I look for good grpahics a nice storyline, and having fun (JUST AN EXAMPLE). Thanks.
