If it blocks the eGO ads it's not good. It matters not if it's a side effect.

Guys, a COMMUNITY MANAGER said that ads with sound or popups need to be reported, as they aren't supposed to be here. You make it sound as if they're put up on purpose. Blocking all the ads is a very half-baked solution; it's much better to eliminate the intrusive ones so that others can remain as a source of income.
