Possibility of a Room 7 (Members) or even (BC2)

About 20 times a day (while on ego ventrilo in a channel of 4 or more people) we get random people (or the same 5-6 people as I've heard their voices) that show up screaming into the microphone or using soundboards.

I've been told by several council members that making such a request would result in the same outcome... but I must ask anyway.

In General Rooms, there is a room 9, which is currently passworded.
In the Eve Division there are 2 passworded channels that remain passworded 24/7.

And to those that say "But eGO is a place that promotes a public ventrilo"

There is a easy solution, put the password in the BC2 division forums, that way... those actually interested in the BC2 division will see the thread.

I am sure many advisors would like to see this happen as many of us bug them throughout the day to come remove a player with bad intentions.

I would be willing to donate towards the ventrilo just to see this passworded channel.

I'm sure others are willing to throw in a couple bucks to see this happen.

Multiple threads have been made (both inside the drop box and out side the drop box) about this issue and here's a basic summary.

The reason why we don't have locked rooms is that because we tried it before for eGs and eGOs. They were removed because too many admins stayed inside those locked rooms and never came out. This will happen again, alienating potentially new recruits and possibly preventing us to gain and lose new recruits.

As for the locked room, leadership can lock an empty room in order to discuss with someone without being interrupted by a random person or other leadership. Addressing EVE, the reason why they have 24/7 locked rooms is because of the game style. The best way I can describe it is that think of it as a big corporate spy game.

Our vent, like you quoted, is a public place. There is almost always a member of leadership on at any given time and it's easy to contact them with a simple pm with the room you're in and the spammers name.
