Favourite Movies?

Even though I don't watch it as often as I should, V for Vendetta is probably my favorite movie

Shawshank Redemption

Blade Runner

Excalibur

All Indiana Jones

Anything made by Scorcese

I whittled my favorite moves down from another list I have. I rate movies on the "rewatchability factor". A good example of something that does not make my list is The Dark Knight. Good film, but one viewing was good enough. The following list is comprised of stuff I watch over and over again. In order of release date:

Charlie Chan films (Sidney Toler & Mantan Moreland) - 1940s
The Great Escape - 1963
The Professionals - 1966
Chariots of Fire - 1981
Back to the Future - 1985
The Hunt for the Red October - 1990
The Last of the Mohicans - 1992
Maverick - 1994
Contact - 1997
Oceans Eleven - 2001
The Bourne Identity - 2002
Secondhand Lions - 2003
Elf - 2003
National Treasure - 2004
Ratatouille - 2007

Out of those, The Bourne Identity wins out every time for me.

I don't really have a favorite movie. My most recent enjoyment out of a movie was get him to the greek

Die Hard (far and away my favourite film of all time, the series in general, but specifically the first)
Shawshank Redemption
Pulp Fiction

The classics.

Saving Private Ryan or maybe The Hurt Locker.

But if The Band Of Brothers count as a movie I have to say that. :)

ooh yeah the Hurt Locker is very good.. No one has mentioned any of the James Bonds', I think they are all brilliant too!
