NFS: Hot Pursuit

Just bought the game, and it's so fun!
I posted this thread because I was wondering if anyone was buying it soon, or has bought it. I think it's really fun

i have it for PC. while it is really fun there are a lot of things that are appearing to be bad with the game, especially for the PC.
No graphical options, AA etc. no rain effects even.
umm no chat in the game what so ever. its basically silent era friend system.
no cop chases/chasing in freeroam/single player. to get into that outside of career mode you have to play online with others which brings us to the last thing.
no anti-cheat and there never will be anti-cheat, said the developers. thus there are cheaters you will come across.

couple other small beefs from me on this game, but otherwise im still having lots of fun with it - i just think once i beat the career mode this game is going back on the shelf since there is no cop chase/chasing freeroam action

Is this like the old 1990's hot pursuit? Cause that game was amazing.

EDIT: really no cop chase? forget it then. They just need to take hot pursuit (the old version) and upgrade the graphics and we have us a game.

you can cop chase - you can play as the cop but what i mean is you cannot play single player freeroam in a cop car and bust racers. all you can do is drive around. same as being a racer, you won't get chased by cops in freeroam, you just drive around doing nothing.
so the only way to actually get that action is either play career mode races (which for the most part are short) or play online. online is great fun, but when you run into laggers/cheaters you just wasted 5-10 minutes of your life.

and this time around its more hot pursuit meets burnout (since these developers did develop this game together). so you cannot actually pit maneuver anybody in this game like you could the first 2. its more ram into them until their hp bar is done and it 'busts' them.
its actually really hard being a cop in this game (online anyway).

your comp can't run it? it doesn't take much to run it honestly since its just a directly port to PC and thus no bonus graphical anything. theres ppl running it on 8400s and such.

I have an ATI xpress 200 onboard graphics card. I run tf2 at 9 fps.

I got it on my PS3, and the graphics are incredible. The gameplay is so fun, just a dissapointment as you can't do chases in freeroam.
