Wait until it dismantles itself like a Transformer. I've never purchased a Razer product because I don't know anyone who has used one with any success. I checked some of their stuff out at a LAN it all has that cheap plastic feeling.

Wow - maybe they bought some cheap Chinese intimation? Or maybe (just maybe?) you saw some kid at a LAN who liked to eat Cheetoes, drink Mountain Dew, and smear his cheesy-sticky paws all over his mouse and made it yucky? Just saying...Lans can be....icky. Just a little icky... >.<

All of the Razer products I've ever used were durable. Some people don't endorse Razer products because they tend to be more expensive than other brands, but never because of their quality...

I have a Mamba and I absolutely love it. I've never had any problems with it. It did start to squeak but it fixed itself. I also love how all of the Razer mice are named after Elipids, kind of ironic if you ask me.

I know exactly what you mean. Fortunately I stay away from lans that involve kids, Cheetoes, Mountain Dew and other icky things, so definitely not the case here. They were actually door prizes for the CS tournament and the entire event was sponsored by the university.

To those who have enjoyed their Razer products, I salute you. I don't mind paying a high price as long as the price reflects the quality of product. I paid something like $60 for my MX518 the week of the launch 5 years ago and all 60 bucks are still functioning without errors or self-resolving squeaks (granted I have not performed the icky Cheeto test).

If you dig Razer, by all means keep supporting them. If anything I feel unlucky that I have not encountered your success.

I still use a G5, and love it. I don't like Razer because of the feel. They seem way too slick and 'stylish' to me, that goes with their keyboards as well.

With Logitech it just feels right, durable and bulky.

I was originally going to get a DeathAdder but I got a R.A.T 3, I sacrificed 400DPI for comfort and one of the best scrollwheels money can buy.

For me, it is so comfortable! Fits in my hand well. Only problem right now the braided cable is rubbing up against desk so it is making a weird sound :| i need to fix that.

I have had my Copperhead for a good 5+ years now. Have yet to have a problem with it besides replacing the feet that got worn out.

Been thinking about shelling out some cash for a Deathadder or a Mamba. But I like to ride out my stuff "till the wheels fall off" so I think I got another 3 years before I replace this mouse.

On a side note... So many company's don't produce left handed or ambidextrous mouses... Another reason I love my Copperhead

None of my Razer products have ever broken. Razer has great quality products. I've been using a Deathdder for...3 years? Maybe 4. Still working like a champ, not one problem.

I have the Logitech G500, i understand its overkill and i dont use anywhere near 5700 dpi, but the change of weight and the quick sensitivity changes are nice. I know the Deatadder can change dpi on the fly, its very helpfull when sniping if settings are correct. The most handy thing on the mouse the locking and unlocking the scroll wheel. When you get used to it, it makes scope and camera viewpoints become one of your most powerful weapons with easy utilization. Ive had mine for a year and have had NO issues with it at all and i grind the gears all the time without really realizing it. I find razor devices to be rather flakey but they are night and day, sometimes you will get one that dies that day after the warranty is up, other times you will get one that will last you through 10billion clicks. Stay away from the keyboard tho, driver issue with Windows media player....not worth the screen minimizations

If you've got a high DPI mouse, turn your DPI to the MAX and turn your ingame sensitivity down to what you normally play at. It seems the same as normal but you'll be able to track across turns at lightning speed that you've never been able to before and you will be able to make tiny motions that were overly amplified before. Also in CS;S, DOD:S and TF2 make sure you use the Raw Input option to turn off any acceleration that will screw up your aim that your OS gives you.

Had my Deathadder for like 3/4 years now, never had a single problem with it. Pretty sure they've updated it since, so yours might be slightly different, but I love mine.
