Im not sure you can get the haunted metal any more, but if you can its only done by beating the headless horseman with a melee attack.

Frisky is right, you can Only get the haunted metal during that halloween special, and you will probably be able to get it next year too. I still have my metal, so if you want it that bad i'm in the market for free gift wrap and hats...
