Back to the Future: The Game

I dunno...making a game out of an 80's classic is dangerous ground. Then again the Ghostbusters game that came out recently wasn't half-bad, so who knows?

Can I hit on my own mother? ;)

I'm not sure, it truly depends on the gameplay. As long as I don't run around throwing Pizzas and collecting Clocks.

no offense but it looks like itll be a waste of $$. i mean the original back to the future game didnt do jack. im sure there will be a few buyers, but not thinkin there will be that many people that will go for it.

Never did see the film. So I'm going to go with NEY , GOOD DAY SIR!

Good:

It's being made by Telltale Games

Christopher Loyd is doing the voice of Doc Brown

The art style looks good (I almost see a little bit of Start Wars the Clone Wars in the characters?)

It's a new story set after the ending of the original trilogy.

Bad:
It's a point and click adventure game. (not always bad, but it's a refined taste among gamers)

The backgrounds, while they look nice, are probably static.

Marty McFly isn't being voiced by Michael Fox, or even the guy who did his voice on those 80's cartoons. It's a whole new voice actor :/

It's a whole new story. I loved the first movie, the second was....interesting. I definitely liked the third more than the second, but still...nowhere near the magic of the first. Will the game be able to recapture the feelings of the first movie?

There's not even a mention of Jennifer Parker. It's like she was just some sidequest for Marty during the first movie that they forgot about.

Timewise...the movie was set in the present (which was 1985) - will the 'present' time in this game feel like we're already going back in time when we start the game?
