Has anyone else noticed that the whole premise of the game Homefront is totally coming true? The whole backstory of the game seems to be creepily accurate....:(

Actually no, it's not even close. In homefront japan willingly joins north korea, along with south korea. Which makes no sense. North korea has a lot of troops, but their really isn't that impressive.

Yeah Korea and Japan aren't the greatest of friends. Fortunately when you're as crazy as North Korea, you can have a peasant army armed with plastic chopsticks and still do some damage.

I still hope that maybe North Korea's douchbaggery is all a joke and that when they start dropping bombs that they're filled with confetti and kimchi.

Wait, Japan joins forces with North Korea to form an army?
No.

The only thing that matches up is the obvious, Kim Jung Un being chosen as successor. As of right now, it's just as likely that upon Kim Jong-il death, that the North Korean generals off the Kim family and take over the country. Or there is a revolution upon his death. Or Kim Jung-il actually starts off a war and the country get leveled. Even China absorbing the country is somewhat of a possibility.

The Korean situation is a ticking time bomb of tension and pretty much impossible to predict.
