eGO Radio?

Yeah so I was thinking, wouldn't it be awesome if eGO ran an online radio station? It's extremely easy to run one and it would be kind of cool in my opinion. It would attract a lot of people, hosting would be simple, and I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find DJ's because I bet plenty of people within the clan won't mind learning how to do it. And if you're like me, you already know how to do it.
Anybody else think this would be a good idea?
 
I dont see why not.. Were always looking for More idea to Attract more players! Good idea in my opinion.

It doesn't matter imo. We could maybe start off with this division and then all the other divisions might like the idea and make their own also. Or we could just start off with one huge organization-wide station. Doesn't matter to me a bit. Who would I talk to, to maybe get this approved and implented?
 
I use to be an online radio dj, I had so much fun and I would love to do it again. Great idea!
 
I know me and mildhotsauce were talking about having a pod cast for the Leauge Scrims.

You should talk to Division Leadership, people like Yeti, Digital DJ, Drunken Fetus, Burt or Jedihitman and go from there. They'll tell you what they think and will be able to direct you to the appropriate people.
 
someone brought this up before but I can't think of who it was see about getting into the media team and suggesting it you could talk to Bloody Bunny about getting in I'll have him contact you

i have run an internet radio station for about 8 years only stopped it when my machine died
 
Funny thing, im actually bringing one online in about 6 months. My plan is to have a online radio station in about 6 months, then within 10 years when i get funds ect to open a air-wave radio station.
 
why not all of you see about joining the Media Team and we can probably get this started up
 
A guy named studder from eGO is already working with his buddy about this situation. So it might be a possibility of having a radio but we aren't sure.
 
i could bring mine back from the dead quiet easy would just need to set up the ego dns server
 
Hey they just set up the podcast team maybe you guy's can talk to each other and probably can the podcast idea and go with the bigger better idea of an actual ongoing radio station or even both! I've also done the online dj thing and the club dj thing as well so I would help out if needed. I think the best person to talk to about this is the guy Artimus that made the post below, he is one of the founders of eGO so good luck, I like the idea hopefully he will too! This is a somewhat threading topic I've been hearing more than a few people talking about something like this or similar for a month or 2 now.

Couldn't we just set up a online music stream? Hell we could stream EGO meetings on it when it comes meeting time, or important events with a announcer like thing. Otherwise we would have music and take requests.
 
Rathion, I love that little bit you just added, man, round tables, EC meeting, Recruiting meetings, Heck Any meetings recorded, then set on a Pod cast or streaming Radio station with Set times. Doesn't have to be eGO, just a simple link kept on the forum, or main division page.

THEN anyone can see what they missed, aka those constant repeating news stations (headline news).
