By staying active, does that mean posting on the forums a lot?

Well, I'd love to stay active in this community. I'm kind of curious though, when it says stay active, does that mean just, staying in touch with others within the community? Knowing all of the news and such?

Or do you have to post a bit on the forums, frequently be on the IRC or Ventrillo, and things like that?

However you can or want to. Play on the servers. Get in Vent and/or IRC and talk to people. Post on the forums. Nothing specific, just really however you choose to.

The best, easiest (and most fun) way to stay active is to simply go play the games. Hop on a server, have fun, make some friends, blow stuff up. Being active on the forum is good too, because there you can keep up on news and events and stuff like that for whichever division you are in.

staying active in the community basically means what it states. Stay Active! If you want to be specific, it basically means to be in the server, come on ventrilo, come to events, post on the forums.

Obviously, the first and main goal of eGO is for you to play in the servers. Ventrilo is a great tool to get to know not only your leadership, but other members as well. It adds a whole new dimension to the word FUN.

On a side note concerning posting on the forums: NO you do NOT have to post a significant amount on the forums. Your posts should always be of significance. That means, don't post just to post. Post something of value.

Simply put, leave the forum madmen (Ahem, me), to their forums and you be active in whatever you feel like. Theres IRC, Ventrilo, forums and then the servers themselves. Being active in the servers is by far the most important thing.
