need a new mouse and keyboard. any ideas or suggestions would be great. thanks.

To be honest man.. buying an expensive keyboard in comparison to a cheap one is pointless.. I've tried alot of expensive keyboards but don't buy one just for its price or name... I use some 10$ Microsoft keyboard that I feel is 100x better then the Logitech g15 or something similar.

On the other hand, buying an expensive mouse is ok... i'm in love with my g5.

its all up to what you want and paying 145$ for the keyboard the first poster said is really pointless in my opinion lol.

Buy a model M keyboard. Can probably pick it up super cheap somewhere, its indestructible, lasts decades, and its heavy enough to pass as a first-class bludgeon.

Model Ms are overrated. Get a Filco.

It's a mechanical keyboard. They don't break. They feel so much better than rubber dome switches, like the G15. The G15 is overpriced since it is just a rubber dome switch keyboard.

G15 not overpriced, the screen is worth it.

But mechanical kb=totally worth it

The only benchmark I care about is whether or not is whether or not I get at least 100fps in the games i play ;-)

You're not I'm your huckleberry.
There's a benching thread. You should do it. It's fun.

everyone underappreciates the mx510 (or whatever current model is out).

I have had my mx510 since 2004, even with the feet 'pads' worn off, its still an amazing mouse that I have zero problems with in 6 years.

I have a rubbish keyboard that probably doesn't even a have a name ,but a very good mouse. I have a Deathadder.
