Need some help with this one. I've been searching and searching, but I can't find a laptop that matches what I'd like, or can live with.

Price: $800 maximum, preferably between $500-$700
Features: Intel Core i3 or i5 CPU, or AMD equivalent
Graphics: Dedicated graphics card to let me play WoW, Company of Heroes, and/or Call of Duty 4. Not a must have feature; a strong would like. Optimus would be really great as well as I'll be using this laptop for business trips.
Memory: Min 3 GB DDR3, 4 or 6GB is better
Hard drive: 320GB HDD minimum, prefer 7200 rpm, but can live with 5400 rpm (if I must)
Drive: Blu-Ray is a very strong would like to have.
Webcam: Built-in please. I do a lot of Skype calls.
Brand: Asus, Dell, Gateway, HP, Lenovo, or Toshiba.

With this list, I'm hoping someone can find me a laptop that I'd be able/wiling to buy. If I gotta get DVD-RW, I expect a lower price, or a better than expected video card. With a Blu-Ray, I expect a higher price, but if its lower than what I'm expecting to pay, it's just a strong reason for me to buy it.

Priority: Cost, Battery Life, Blu-Ray, gaming, storage.

Reliability is a built in must have, of course.

It is because I posted one that was similar. The M11x s not an option however, since it does not include a DVD-RW nor Blu-Ray. And yes, I prefer to have an internal drive, instead of the external dvd drive.
 
how often do you use DVDs?

I use them maybe 3 times a year

ripping excluded, but i wouldnt do that on my laptop either

Blu-ray, can add dedicated graphics, within price range. 500GB HD. I have a good 3 hours + battery life on this one when working. Highly recommend it
 
M11x would still be ur be the best choice with an external drive even tho u don't like it. I mean external drives are like $30-40 and you can pick up an m11x on amazon for like $700 right now with an SU7300 that u can overclock to 1.73ghz and GT335M which will be good enough for decent gaming on like medium settings and 4gb DDR3.

I don't really see any other option thats as good. Unless you don't mind getting refurbished

heres like the best i could find for ur $700 price, its refurbished and by Asus. It's an older gaming laptop but has an i5 and GTS 360

oh XPS 14, go for it. I heard the speakers are amazing and some of the best if not the best on any laptop =/

Seems like a great setup for the price

its almost the same performance as the M11x GPU =/ it gets about 6,800 on 3dmark06 but the CPU is probably a huge contributing factor considering its an i5 and not a low-voltage cpu like the m11x has.

The GT 420 is about 12% slower than the GT 335m in the m11x

If you get the XPS15 PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get the 1080p screen. you will be so much happier
