I find it strange that nobody posted a thread about this the whole year. I personally would camp outside the theater to see a Bioshock movie thats been given the "300" treatment (yes, its going to be highly CG like 300). When I read the article I immediately went looking for rumored cast, the longest running one that seems to hold water is that Wentworth Miller (Jailbreak fame) has been cast as Jack. It seems to me that its very unlikely that this is made up, because this guy isn't exactly "a-list".

I'd love to see these people play their corresponding characters.

Sander Cohen: John Cleese
Andrew Ryan: Robert Downey Jr
Frank Fontaine: Robert De Niro
Atlas (voice actor): Colin Farrell
Dr. Tenenbaum: Uma Thurman (not really sure where to go on this one)

I'll believe it when I see the trailer. Bioshock is just one of those projects.
 
Agree with Sexy Beast, seems hard to believe that many A-list actors working on a video game project, IMO.
 
What in the heck are you guys talking about, there haven't been any actors confirmed yet.
 
All they need is to throw in the rock... Add in some game footage and we have Doom I mean Bioshock the movie :/

Its not really for the sake of speculation, if Cleese was Cohen and Downey Jr was Ryan I really wouldn't care who the others were. I haven't seen Cleese on screen in awhile and being a crazed, darkly humorous stage actor seems right up his alley. After all, the character IS him with some murder mixed in.
 
If moviefone put it on their site, then its most likely legit. They don't put theories or gossip on there

It really has nothing to do with gossip or theories. The Bioshock movie, if done right, would need a massive budget and they're going for a Hard-R rating...which is a hard sell.

The movie has already had problems securing funding and it would be pretty easy to have the bottom fall out again. Which is why the project is slated under "I'll believe it when it seen"; in my productions to watch book.
