World Cup 2018/2022

It is a shame that England didn't receive the 2018 bid. As for the U.S., I wish it was here just so I could attend a few matches. Ticket sales, advertising, broadcast rights, everything is better here so it would be a no brainer not to have it in the U.S.

However, Qatar with all that crazy money, bought out a few FIFA officials for the bid. They still have to build a majority of the required stadiums before 2022. All I have to say is that A/C better be working or those fans and players will have a hell of a time playing in 120+ degree weather. It will be interesting to see how many players opt out of international duty due to risk of injury.

Either way, I will watch both Cups and continue my support.

Go USA!!!

Soccer is lameeeeee

I bet you like Baseball. Just as boring with a bunch of cheaters. (and if you don't like baseball, then nevermind :P)

OH, I play the Qatar very well. Been playing it for years.

I was kinda surprised by the 2018 being Russia...

But Qatar in 2022?... I'm sorry but in January the Asian Cup will kick off in Qatar(If I remember correctly) It's already a mess....

I would have loved to see 2022 being in Japan, there are some AMAZING capacity stadiums there, which are rarely used... But alas.

Hey Rina, didn't Japan in their bid propose to televise all the World Cup games in 3D in many major stadiums throughout the world? If they could of pulled that off that would be awesome. I think that's were we are headed in the future.
