Hello all,

I'm {Smoke} and I wasn't sure where to put this threat so if need be please move it. I've been playing on your Insurgency servers for a couple of months now and I'm totally impressed with how everyone in EGO plays and behaves. *applause* I hope a least a couple of you know who I am and can give some feedback RE: me . I like to think I do well, but there is always room for improvement. I'm eye balling the next steps of the application, but I have 3 young kids that keep me busy so I don't know when I will be able complete . Hope to hear from some of you and happy fragging!

Welcome to the forums. It's always nice to hear from someone who thinks like we do. The folks at the Personnel Service Center will be happy to help you out if you have any questions.

Hope to see that =(e)=™ soon. But your going to have to settle on a single name.

I've got two high school kids myself. It does limit my time on the servers. Push comes to shove put your family first and your EdgeGamers family second. Stick around and you'll see what I mean about EdgeGamers family. It's a pretty fair description.

Thanks for the warm welcome, Quaffer! I wasn't sure if the special characters would be accepted ( {,}) so I went with the easier one. Is there a way to change it to show {Smoke}? And yes, ALWAYS family first

The following is from The PSC forums start here thread.

Make sure your in-game name and forum name are the same.
Capitalization doesn't matter.

We do not allow special characters in forum or in-game names.
Special characters as those which cannot be typed on a USA keyboard without ALT-codes. Standard non-alphanumeric characters ($ % & ! “ { * etc) are allowed but should be kept to a minimum. For example, the name Bob! would be ok, but $&Bob!#$ would not.

Your name must be eGO appropriate.
We are more strict about member names than we are with public players. In other words, there are "gray" names we allow pubs to use that we would not allow from members. Feel free to ask an Advisor or Division Leader if you need clarification on borderline names.

Do not add a clan tag, i.e. =(e)=™, =(eG)=™, =(eGO)=™, or any other clan's tag, to your forum name.
EdgeGamers™ members must have our tag in front and any other clan tag at the back of the name while in-server.

COD players may use a maximum of 9 characters in-game. In order to keep your forum name and your in game name similar, use an abbreviated name.

Keep in mind that the user name you choose could be contested by a current member. Current members may contest names by placing a message in the Drop Box. Personnel Service Center (PSC) Division Leaders will make the call on all contested names.

I did a check and while we have a Smoke member, they have not been active for 18 months.

{Smoke} has not been taken and looks like it is within the guidelines. Check with the PSC guys about a name change.
