Anyone wear contacts?

I got some today and all I can say is these things are crazy.Can't believe how much brighter the world is hahaha.

Ok well, how long did it take you guys to get used to the whole putting them in and taking them out? The process takes a good 20 mins. Also, could I wrestle with them in?

I started wearing contacts 3 years ago. I love them! They are way better then wearing glasses, you can barely feel them also.

It doesnt take that long took me about 2weeks to get used to them such as putting them in/out.

You can play any sport with them in, just gotta be careful as to not getting anything in your eyes. They basically stick to your eyes and stay in, unless they dry up. Always bring your contact case & and some of the liquid stuff just in case with you though.

They are awesome, and they can change your eyes in a good way.

I went with glasses because I can't bring myself to coming that close to touching my eye. I don't know why.

I've been wearing contacts for...oh man, like 10-11 years? I basically wear my contacts for pretty much the entire day, going outside and stuff and wear my glasses at night, since usually by the end of the night my eyes are tired.

The whole taking contacts off, taking them on took me about 2-3 weeks as well. It's not too bad, just remember not to wear contacts inside out, cuz that sucks.

been wearing contacts for like 5yrs or something like that, they are so much better than my glasses were, its much more clear. Took me a while to figure out a way to put them in and take them out, doctor didnt show me lol. But yeah i love em

It took me about a week, and I remember the grueling 20 minutes to take em out

I play paintball in them so I assume you should be able do wrestle in them. Be careful not to get sweat into them or anything else that is water based, the contacts will absorb the water and the salt of your sweat will be even worse when it hits your eyes with contacts.

Also keep an extra pair and solution handy, and if it gets cold and windy where you live, wear sunglasses. I got a pair I wear just for the winter since I have almost constant wind of like 20mph and coupled with snow, your eyes will dry out quickly.


I will never go back to wearing glasses though, its like removing a dirty windshield from your vision, I only where mine for the time it takes to take my contacts out and go to bed, and then wake up and put them in.

Aw, you could just walk around with your eyes closed all day. That would fix your problem there.

I wore contacts for like 3 years, then I switched to glasses. Contacts were nice at first, but they become irritating after.
