I started playing this on release, went through Burning Crusade, toughed it out - it was the worst thing that could have ever happened to the game.

WotLK was a lot better, though I felt the pvp again, focused way too much on the arena.

Cataclysm seems to bring back the old world in a huge way, & I assume that there will be a lot more world pvp going down.

The graphical upgrades are great, the UI upgrades are a huge relief - I've picked it up again and will buy the new expansion.
