New promotional item coming: "Mr Fosters Gasmask and Tie" from Killing Floor

Killing floor is having a Christmas promotion and it includes a new Pyro unlockable. Can anyone testify whether the game itself is a worthwhile purchase or not?

Sometime last year it had a free weekend that I took advantage of. It was also on sale right after I believe and I got it. If you like zombie games this one is pretty cool. I played for about 3 months until I got bored and played TF2 again. I'd say buy it for the game not for the items.

Thank you for the info. I certainly would never buy it just for the TF2 item but I would buy it if I thought it would interest me. The items just bring the game to my attention, similar to what happened with Poker Night. Hopefully it will go on sale soon. Who knows, maybe it will for the Steam Treasure Hunt. If it goes half price I'll definitely pick it up.

dont forget this, the pyro also joins the fight agenst the zombies on killingfloor in return and also you can unlock santa to play as o-o lol (but...what does that make the zombie santa bloats?...nvm)

the pyro is so far, the most liked charater from tf2, kinda, i say that because the pyro i beleive is the first play able charater on another game...i say... why not?

I all ready own killing floor, it's great fun if you have friends to play it with but on your own with random people you just tend to split up and die, not too fun in my opinion, I would reccomend it if you can get at least two or three other people to play it with (and it also comes with guest passes so you can invite your friends that don't have it! Yay for guest passes!)

Normally people can speak out of those kinds of gas masks, maybe the engie couldn't make his voice box work. The reason why the engie had only one glove, he most likely has OCD so why would he wear only ONE glove? The pyro took it and wears it on his head as if he knows the engie made him or something. ALSO this is why Valve chose the homewrecker as one of the weapons for the pyro, it shows that the pyro is defensive of the engineer and the pyro's fellow machines.

Or, he's the original pyro, Abraham Lincoln, brought back to life as some kind of suited zombie(hence the mumbling and craziness) by the Engineer's grandfather. At least, that could be the BLU one. Don't know about RED.
