Combine v. Covenant

because of there 2 styles

covenant tend to fight best in space and just destroy planets from orbit

the combine tend to just open a big portal with there enemies home world and just take over the whole planet which would force the Covenant to glass there own planet.

Combine were MAD badass (GAS-MASKS, HOLLA). The conevant were just stupid ugly aliens with unrealistic laser guns. I still play HL2 single player mods (SMOD mostly) from time to time.

ya the striders would mess the scarabs right up and the hunters would have no problem with the elites and brutes.

Combine are also totally unreachable, in terms of space. Do they even have spaceships?

I did seem to notice a bunch of striders in City 17.
Just one city, out of at least 17!

I think a drop pod of grunts armed with fuel rocket pods could take down a strider if they were careful. The combine striders are tough to take down with human weaponry of the 21st century. Covenant don't use explosives, they use plasma that burns through just about anything. I think their plasma would burn through a strider's armor easily.
