Maybe Trojan?

Hay guys, My wifes computer is Completely functionaly, but doesn't respond to anything.

It will not let me run any AntiVirus programs, it tells me the Files are Infected. Click here to Run AntiVirus Program. And if i click Yes, Then it brings me to an online page to buy AntiVirus programs. It will not respond to ANY websites, it wont let me connect to Anything else. Task mananger wont come up because it tells me the files are infected. Everything is Infected. Everyone 5 min. a Website pops up and Vigara, Or prono.org/porno.com.

Anyone have any clues on what i can do to clean it up?
 
I'd wait and see if someone more knowledgeable has a better solution, but right now sounds like you'll want to re-format and reinstall windows.

That's my best guess.
 
My sister has the same problem. Look it up antivirus virus in Google. The thing that worked for me is starting the computer up, and spamming ctrl+alt+delete until it comes up, the program wont be able to stop the task manager process if you open it before the virus starts. Then find the process, its usually a bunch of random letters; my sisters process was called "wlysfg54.exe". I think if you have vista or 7 you should be able to find where the process is found, go in there and delete that sucker. After that run AVG, MalwareBytes, and/or SuperAntiSpyware. Then you should be good to go, that worked for me at least.
 
Yeah that's definitely a virus infection, Viktum. I've fixed so many people's computers because of this very similar problem. Bokkchoi is somewhat right, however, it's not always going to be that same exact exe file. Best thing that you can do is this what BokkChoi suggested, however I would do this via Safe Mode. In case you don't know what Safe Mode is, it's a special operation mode for Windows, in which it just runs the essential files for Windows to start up, deactivating most of the garbage associated. Most of the time viruses won't be functional in safe mode, for the most part.

To boot up in Safe Mode, reboot the computer, and before it gets to the Loading Windows screen graphic, press F8 repeatedly (don't worry if you hear a beep after a bit, that's just letting you know it understood your request to see the boot menu.) Most Windows boot menu are relatively the same, you'll see a bunch of options that'll look sorta like this:

Choose Safe Mode, it'll load up Windows in a very low resolution, which is native, so don't worry. Do your virus and spyware scans and such, and let me know if the problem persists.
 
The virus creates a new process every time you start your computer up, so it will always be different, but always noticeable. All of the antivirus programs I know couldn't find the virus itself.

Probably a Rootkit then, if that's the case. Persistent little buggers.
 
Updating now, Scanning with New Microsoft Securtiy Essentials... She can atlease use her computer now.....Thank you guys so much for your help...What would i do With eGO!
 
Fixed! Thanks guys. And BokkChoi, i will keep you in mind when i win the Lottery bc that was the only way i could get the Task manager up! Once i got that stopped b4 it started to run, i was able to Run my Programs, and get Windows Securtiy Essensitals to run. Her computer is fixed and now 100% Clean....
 
yep what you describing is one of the most common types of trojan horses, either you have a
fake anti virus program installed on your computer or else the trojan is messing with your current anti virus program. DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT buy anything from the webpages that appear, as they may be bad for your computer, not to mention the owner of the sites could be out after your credit card information

if there infact is a fake anti virus program try opening the controll panel and remove it from there. Or find the folder containing the program and try to delete, rename, move one or more of the files

if however there is a code in the registry file which is causing mayham things will be a bit more dificult as you possibly would have to find the correct registary that has the malicious code edited in. also understanding those codes can sometimes be quite difficult, so its hard to know what to delete without harming the system.
so in that case scenario i would reccomend to reinstall the computer

anyways avg support center can give you a tutorial on how to remove most known types of virus, they also have several tools to help you remove the virus you might have..

would also be nice to know what anti virus program the computer has installed
 
I would suggest reformatting for this as it sounds very deep but the guys helped you fix it ;)
