Definitely a great start!
Ill post some constructive criticism since that always helps.
The map is a bit small, reminds me of a GunGame map. Using the map as a central choke point for the middle flag and placing pathways off the ends that connect to eachother, would really help to make the area larger and create branching pathways off of the central area. The issue is that you are able to throw a nade from practically one end of the map to the other.
Having the staircases on the same side might not work out, especially with the one side having to expose themselves before even reaching the stairs. Placing them in opposite corners would help this. -OR- you could place a third staircase in the opposite alleyway so players can quickly get from one side of the map to the other, but by having to expose themselves. You kind of do this already with the rig, but if you place it in the middle that would help balance that, or you can make the wooden triangle just a little bit taller so you can jump on top of that.
The shooting range is a nice touch, however it is really big and really open... which is what theyre supposed to be. but adding some cover in any way helps, even if you made the targets at different ranges so you can run staggerly to each one. Another thing about the shooting range, is there being only one entrance. If you were to add another entrance on the opposite end, that would allow the enemy team to enter it with the same distance and make it a small shooting arena. Same goes for the second floor shooting range. - Note - The guns alongside the walls were a nice touch, especially if you set them up from being the best-worst with the best gun furtherest from the entrance. If you decide to create a second entrance though, having the best guns in the middle would also create a challenge, and a goal for the players who end up with the sapper and want a rifle!
Then just the nitpicky.
The wooden cutout door, in the middle of the alley opposite from the one with the stairs, is about 8 units off of the ground.
Great use of the skybox! Although it seems a bit cluttered.
I originally wrote this at 3 am, so this post might have been difficult to follow, but if it wasnt than i hope this helped! ( the first post i wrote timed out by the time i was ready to post, so i ended up having to write this again which might not be as detailed, sorry!)
Great map and keep up the good work!!
We need to get some guys together to playtest it!
