Hey fellas, just thought i would drop a quick note, been missing being dominated by the usual people (skippy) the last week, almost finished a big capoeira festival and grading we have on at the moment.. teachers from other countries and our master as well from brasil so has been an awesome week of training. Final day is tomorrow with a big party after so i will see you all in a couple of days after i recover!!

made it back after an awesome week... and i'm rusty as all hell!! Was quite surprised at how much quicker the game seemed to move when i first started playing!

It always takes me at least a couple of sessions to get back in the groove after a long layoff. Glad to have you back, Gav!

funny i just watched that movie about copiera ..where they dude uses it to reach the inner city kids and teach them lessons about life..only the strong i think its called...anyway have any sweet street fights with infectious brazilian beats?

yeah, every night of the week we had workshops which finished with a roda - where everyone makes a circle and the music while two people play in the middle. The final day after our grading we had a big street parade where a few times it stopped and we all broke into pairs and started playing in the street - was brilliant. So good i have already booked to go to sydney and new caledonia next year for their baptizado (grading) and festivals. The week of workshops alone is worth a month or two of regular training - awesome!
