Tips and Suggestions Needed

After my time with the game, I find that I can't choose a role simply because I want to do a certain thing. I have all my best luck being an Assault and that's it. If I want to be a medic and heal, an engineer and repair and blow up tanks, or recon at all, I'll die.

I attack or defend with an Assault, give ammo, and blow up tanks/buildings with C4. And that's how it'll always have to be.

I found that I'm the most comfortable as an engineer. I like driving or riding shotgun in a tank whenever the opportunity arises, which makes it perfect, going around and healbotting the tank until some cheap sniper comes and C4s it

Quick question: what's the difference between the Krinkov SMG and the UMP? It seems like the Krinkov is marginally better.
